Exchange, Return, and Warranty Policy
At BYAKUA JEWELRY, our priority is the health of our customers and the quality of our pieces. Due to the nature of our products, we have established the following guidelines:
1. Hygiene and Public Health
In accordance with hygiene codes and as these are items for personal and intimate use, we do not accept exchanges or returns on any type of body jewelry (piercings), without exception.
Once the product leaves our facilities or the packaging is opened, it is considered contaminated and cannot be returned to our inventory in order to protect the integrity of future customers.
2. Responsibility for Measurements and Specifications
It is the customer's sole responsibility to verify the measurements (gauge, diameter, post length, and material) before finalizing their purchase.
We provide size guides and personalized advice to answer any questions you may have beforehand.
No refunds or exchanges will be made for errors in the choice of size or model by the consumer.
3. Exclusion of Warranty due to Handling
Our pieces are of high quality; however, their durability depends on the care taken by the user. The warranty will not be valid in the following cases:
Pieces broken, bent, or scratched due to improper installation or handling.
Loss of spheres, crystals, or accessories due to excessive or insufficient adjustment without justification.
Damage caused by contact with chemical agents (perfumes, chlorine, cleaning products) or lack of hygiene during the piercing.
4. Manufacturing Defects According to PROFECO (Federal Consumer Protection Law)
According to the Federal Consumer Protection Law, the customer has the right to claim only in the case of hidden manufacturing defects.
To validate this warranty, the customer must report the damage within a maximum of 24 to 48 hours after receiving the product, sending photographic evidence of the piece inside its original sealed packaging.
If the piece shows signs of having been used or manipulated with tools, the warranty will be automatically voided.
